Susan
Doyle has been involved in government, politics and the
California State Legislature for over twenty-five years. In
1981, she began her career at the Assembly Republican Caucus.
She then went on to serve as Director of Legislation and
eventually Capitol Director for the late Assemblyman Bill
Filante of Marin County.
In 1988, Susan left the Legislature for a career in
government relations. As a lobbyist with the California
Pharmacist's Association, she began developing a keen
understanding of the relationship between the 3rd house and the
State government. In 1990, Susan joined the California Hospital
Association and continued lobbying. She then moved on to become
the Western Regional Director of Governmental Affairs for the
Pharmaceutical Manufacturer's of America. There, Susan was
responsible for legislative affairs for nine different states.
In 2000, Susan joined The Bovee Company where she applies her
extensive knowledge of governmental affairs and the California
State Legislature to all aspects of both 3rd House fundraising
and district fundraising.
Susan lives in the Greenhaven area of Sacramento with her
husband Larry of 21 years. She is an active member of The
Riverside Weslyan Church where she spent four years as the
District Director of Women's Ministries. Susan enjoys nothing
more than getting together with her five children and one (so
far!) grandchild.
